Scope of our work

Having previous built this glasshouse for the college a few years earlier, we were tasked with the rare challenge of deconstruction the facility, and its entire systems, piece by piece to be relocated.?It was a job which required meticulous planning to ensure deconstruction was carefully completed, with teams working on two sites at once as the new location was prepared in advance.?Deconstruction began in January 2022 and the facility was handed over to the client, with new irrigation tanks and light pollution screens, in July, ahead of the new term in September.

The Results

The improved, state-of-the-art facility will support the college’s horticultural students in their studies and prepare them for their future careers in industry. It will enable current and future students to be taught in a modern, high quality glasshouse.
