Tekla Detailer

A fantastic opportunity to join the UK glasshouse market leader as a Tekla detailer. CambridgeHOK has over 60 years of experience in commercial greenhouses and glasshouses - from concept to design and build.

The role

Reporting to the Structural and Design Team leader, this is an office-based role, working closely with a small team of experienced designers and engineers. The selected candidate will be responsible for the production of design, fabrication, and erection drawings for various glasshouses (including fit-out items) using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD software.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Using Tekla structures to detail structural steel, cladding and CambridgeHOK bespoke glazing system including any ancillaries.
• Using AutoCAD to offer support for site plans, planning drawings and typical build details.
• Liaising and supporting the fabrication shop and the site teams.
• Producing bill of materials and creating order requests.
• Attending sites to survey existing glasshouses, inspect ongoing builds, and participate in near-end completion snagging.
• Assisting in client liaison and participating in meetings.

Candidate:

• Minimum 4 Years of experience using Tekla Structures
• Experience with AutoCAD would be advantageous
• Excellent organisational, written and numerical skills
• Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
• Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team
• Computer literate
