Boultham Park Project

Boultham Park in Lincoln is undergoing a multi-million-pound restoration. This lottery funded project aims to revitalise the park that is loved by the local residents by restoring features but also by developing new facilities on the site.

One of these facilities is being designed and constructed by CambridegHOK. We have been employed by the P. Casey Group to build a free-standing 12m by 10m Venlo glasshouse that is appropriate for public use. The building will be used alongside an education centre for Linkage Community Trust students to teach them about horticulture. Linkage is a Lincolnshire-based charity that supports people with learning disabilities focusing on specialist education, care and employment.

This project also includes all the internals of the glasshouse, including roof vents, shade screens, benches and heating system. CambridgeHOK are also installing the glasshouse environmental controls into one easy to use and monitor Priva BMS system.
