CambridgeHOK are delighted to have added further expertise to our team to enhance the quality of project delivery for our clients.
Experienced building services engineer Carl Forman (Pictured) is the latest addition to our expanding engineering and design division, joining in the role of Project Engineer.
His role will be focussed on improving efficiencies in project delivery as we turn innovative design into a working reality on sites across the UK and abroad.
Martin Wilson, Mechanical Services Design Manager at CambridgeHOK, said: “We are delighted to have added Carl to the team, who has joined us from a well-established mechanical and electrical services business.
“He is a very capable design engineer himself, but importantly he has experience of managing and overseeing installations on site and that will be his priority role for us.
“It is a role we have identified as being essential for us as we continue to grow and work on ever more sophisticated installations. In both our glasshouse and indoor grow work we are now able to take on increasingly complex projects that are really at the forefront of global horticulture”
Company working on large scale heating, ventilation and C02 systems
The CambridgeHOK engineering and design division is responsible for planning and designing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and C02 systems to ensure facilities perform at the ultimate levels of productivity and efficiency for clients.
Over the past 18 months in particular, it has worked on large-scale projects which have required highly-sophisticated systems.
“We’ve had some highly-technical projects within our team in recent times, particularly two large glasshouse projects for Dyson Farming in Lincolnshire and on a medicinal cannabis farm for Hilltop Leaf in Scotland,” added Mr Wilson.
“We’ve also got some exciting projects ahead, so it has naturally made us review how we work and how we can improve our process for both ourselves and our customers.”
Patrick Harte, joint managing director of CambridgeHOK, said: “We continue to build a team that puts use at the front of UK horticulture and Carl’s appointment is a continuation of this journey. The UK industry continues to develop with new and exciting projects and we are keen to be at the forefront of this.”
